During the early hours of Saturday October 7th, a barrage of rockets was fired from the Gaza strip towards Israel, masking the invasion of Hamas terrorists into Israeli territory. Shortly after, Hamas terrorists violently invaded Israeli military bases, gained control of Israeli communities surrounding the Israel-Gaza border, and seized the main police headquarters in Sderot. Israeli defense and security forces fought bravely for hours and days - to defend themselves and the civilians in the invaded areas. Many of them perished, others were kidnapped. They all put themselves at great risk to protect and rescue civilians. These are the stories of the survivors.
